Choice Hotels Asia-Pac is thrilled to announce the 2025 recipients of its “Your Community, Your Choice” grant program, awarding a $4,000 grant to four local organisations driving a meaningful difference.
The grassroots grant program encourages hotel franchisees within the Choice Hotels network to nominate a local charity to receive a community grant.
The grants were awarded to:
Aspire Canterbury, recognised for its significant contributions to the disability sector, nominated by Hotel Elms Christchurch, an Ascend Collection Hotel.
Warrina Domestic & Family Violence Specialist Services, for providing timely crisis accommodation for vulnerable women and children, as well as free counselling and case management, nominated by Quality Hotel City Centre, Coffs Harbour.
Four Reasons Why Mount Gambier, acknowledged for its outstanding work supporting families and children in need, nominated by Comfort Inn The Lakes.
Our Village (formerly Geelong Mums), commended for its vital work collecting and distributing essential baby and children’s items to families in need, nominated by Bayside Geelong & Apartments, an Ascend Collection Hotel.
Choice Hotels Asia-Pac’s Senior Director Commercial and Revenue Management Kari Hunter congratulated all winners and thanked them for their invaluable work across their local communities.

Four grants of $4,000 each were awarded across Australia and New Zealand to organisations making a meaningful impact, while 15 additional winners were announced across the US.
